Employee Assistance Unit (EAU)

The recently created Employee Assistance Unit (EAU) provides confidential peer support, intervention, assist employees with guidance and referral to treatment when necessary for staff who work within the Connecticut Department of Correction and family members.

The goal is to provide confidential resources through clinical and social intervention while maintaining a healthy and balanced work environment for agency employees and their families.

The number is intended to be an immediate telephonic portal for all DOC staff, retirees, and family/loved ones seeking assistance, support, resources/referrals, and guidance for personal and/or job-related problems affecting one’s overall well-being and quality of life.
